I am primarily a value investor but I am perfectly comfortable owning growth at a reasonable price. Though identifying high quality, long term holdings is most rewarding, a lot of my work is related to beaten down and potentially misunderstood companies.
Process highlights - Getting the reason correct is at least as important as getting the stock right. My company analysis is informed by my past life as a consultant.
In analyzing a company, I spend a lot of time in finding the right questions (hypothesis). For me, knowing what I know and what I don’t know (or can't know) is a pre-requisite step in investment analysis.
